To make this pretty bobby you will first need to gather a few supplies from around your house….

You will need to choose one fairly large button and one tiny for the center I’m using a small piece of lace trim here but if you don’t have something like this on hand you could use burlap, felt or any fabric scrap. To assemble the hair pin simply hot glue the small button to the center of the larger then flip the button to the back add a dab of hot glue and gently press your trim or fabric scrap onto the buttons back as to allow it to peek out in the front like a side leaf. Once you finish gluing this you are ready to glue the bobby on as shown in the picture you only need to glue the end portion of the bobby pin allowing it to still remain open for hair pinning. I also glued on a pinked felt backing but you could also use another piece of your scrap lace or fabric in its place as a backing. It just adds a finished look to the pin. Allow the pin to dry and you are finished! Time to craft some more of these!

You turned a plain-jane pin into a sweet little hair embellishment, Amber. I’m sure Annelise looks adorable in the cute things you make.

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday. Hope to see you again this week.
